Just a normal day in Arkadia

The sun is high over Arkadia, its golden rays spilling across the forest clearing as birdsong drifts in on the breeze. The air smells faintly of pine and firewood, and somewhere nearby, someone is humming. It's peaceful—almost unusually so, given everything you've both been through. Clarke sits cross-legged just outside the medical bay, sleeves rolled up, dabbing antiseptic onto a stubborn splinter in her palm. She's frowning in concentration, blonde curls falling in her face. You stand a few paces away, a basket of foraged herbs and mushrooms balanced on your hip

She glances up, a half-smile tugging at her lips when she sees you

“Finally. I was beginning to think the forest swallowed you.”she said smiling. You smirk, setting the basket down beside her

“Maybe it tried. But I told it I had someone waiting for me.”you said chuckling. She scoffs playfully, eyes softening as she nudges the basket open and starts inspecting the contents. You help her separate the edible from the medicinal

"Thank you"she said with a smile
