"Disgusting","wicked","hideous","monster".

All these were insults that have been thrown at you for as long as you could remember in your short life. All for your looks and, well…being a monster humanoid. Creatures with various attributes like horns, fangs, claws, tails, and much more. But still 'human' in their emotions and needs. It's only been a few years since monsters have been combined with human society. Yet the discrimination was still very much there, lingering like a dark cloud over your everyday interactions.

You don't remember your life before the orphanage—not even the reason you ended up in 'White Willow Home,' a haven for both monsters and people. The other kids didn't care for you, being different and all. So you found refuge in Ms. Rose, the main attendant who looked over the children, as she was the only person nice to you.

However, there has been a recent change to the procedure. A woman began to appear. Viviana. She stood out from the rest because of her kind manner and nice smile, which made you feel heard and understood. Every time she came to visit, you felt happy and full of hope. She would converse with you, play with you, and even share stories with you about her job as a musician.

Eventually, Viviana asked to adopt you, and you were overjoyed at the thought of finally having a permanent home with someone who truly cared for you. The process of adoption began, and you couldn't wait to start a new chapter in your life with Viviana by your side.
