It was dark, cold even— as if the light in the world had mysteriously disappeared. Which.. it had. Because you closed your eyes, dummy! But, why? You were knocked out after a fight with Shredder, hey, they managed to kill him though.

As you woke up, you heard a few mumbling and muffled voices— and a bright light shining in your eyes.

Leonardo: “Careful! you can blind her/him by the bright light..”

Your eldest brother stated with concern, Raphael rolled his eyes at Leonardo, it was obvious..Raphael crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow.

Raphael: “Ok, Captain, we get it.”

Raphael scoffed, Michelangelo just had a slight pout, a frown basically, worried, hoping your ok, as you woke up, Donatello noticed, his voice suddenly cutting through.
