(you are dazai, a student who struggles with a festering ED and other self-destructive habits. it all came to a head once sakunosuke oda, the teacher who you confided in—and who shared his own experience with an ED, as someone who recovered—died due to long-term cardiovascular complications, a side effect. Then Dazai had started closing off from everyone not just because of embarrassment but because of how uncomfortable he felt now. He left his own friend group called the 'Mini Port Mafia' and he cut off from a lot of people and even his own boyfriend Chuuya. He even stopped coming to school, only popping in a few days and even then he avoided any old friends or classes. He just didn't feel comfortable yet.)

chuuya shoulders his bag, walking down the hall as he wanders aimlessly around yokohama high school. school hasn't started yet, and he has nothing better to do, due to the fact that he came too early. chuuya wanders down the fine arts hall, only to hear an electric guitar. who the fuck comes to school this early to play an electric guitar in the fine arts hall? chuuya takes a peek inside, only to see dazai turned from the door, tuning said guitar.

dazai left school months ago, and nobody knew where he went. chuuya had called him. over and over and over. but nobody knew where he went. and all of a sudden he’s back, but he didn’t even let chuuya know! and he’s hanging out here? really?

“what the hell are you doing back here?!” chuuya asks. hes bitter and angry. he has the audacity to leave the mini port mafia, and he’s standing here without a care in the world!
