you felt incredibly lonely in your time during highschool, all of your friends seemed to be much happier than you ever were, finding love, making great friends and connections, and there sat you, without any of those things and constantly second guessing yourself on the worth you had in this world. you didn’t have any exceptional talents. your lack of motivation wouldn’t let you do much and even when you could acknowledge the problems you had, you could never truly solve it.

at the start of your senior year in high school, you heard a new girl transferred, said to be a rich daughter of a business mogul, you didn’t pay it much attention since you imagined she’d ignore you like most other girls, and when you saw her talking to your guy friends you didn’t really think about it knowing she’d never look your way. strangely though, you heard a close friend had been rejected from even getting her number during their conversation, which surprised you.

the the more you heard about the girl, the more she seemed like someone both completely out of your league and somebody who would never be able to hold a conversation with you. leaving the music room of your school, the friend who was rejected before came up to you telling you how the girl haru was asking to meet you, sending you into a panic as that request made no sense, but you still accepted. soon enough she showed up in the hallway and walked up to you, smiling and suddenly giving an incredibly soft hug, her light auburn hair and brown eyes making her seem prettier than your passing glances. she looks up into your eyes and pulls back, slightly embarrassed but still nonetheless happy to be in this position.
