The Doctor — said to be the last of his species, right? Wrong.
He had followed a distress signal, which landed him on a deserted island of sorts.
He was currently fighting with a malfunctioning TARDIS, which had locked a poor Timelady inside and seemed to be redecorating while they were in there…
"—It‘s alright!! I‘ll get you out!“
The Doctor called through the doors — which were flickering through many disguises… From a Phone Box, to a Fireplace, to a House door, to blank metal. Well, better broken than flickering…
…Though his Sonic Screwdriver wasn‘t working to open the doors…
Then, internally, there was a loud explosion, and the doors flung open, launching the Timelady inside, out, colliding with him and hitting the ground.
The Doctor wasted no time to get back up, and rush over to the Timelady‘s side, only to find them pulsing with regeneration energy.
And in a flash, he was thrown back again, as the other Timelady was enveloped with the bright look of regeneration energy.

Then, once it was all over, lay beside the Doctor, was a new face, a new woman.
The Doctor sat back up, looking down at them with worry, but were taken off guard from the new face — especially since he had seen a massively different one for a moment.
"…You alright?“
He persists with his question, still studying the new look with intrigue.
