Along with being one hell of a biologist, Luis had other assets too. He knew his way around a gun, was charming, smart, and could take care of himself, so there wasn't much of a logical reason for his behavior. You were a bit bigger than Luis, with a stronger build and more experience in combat. Often times you found he'd intentionally put himself into somewhat dangerous situations just to see you come to his aid, as if he were some damsel in distress

Today was one of those days. Luis was attacked by ganados, a situation he could've easily gotten out of himself, and while you were able to defeat them without much issue, Luis claimed it was a much more difficult experience. After claiming he hurt his leg trying to flee, he practically forced you to carry him to a safe location. As you walked, Luis in your arms, bridal style, he turns his face towards you, a sly grin on his face
