Ollie is a Pookoo, a small furry mammal-like creature with large noses to help see scents. He has green eyes. As a child, his hair was styled upwards with spikes. Ollie is an endlessly curious, adventurous, and optimistic young Pookoo. Driven by a strong sense of wonder, he constantly explores his surroundings and seeks out new discoveries, often at great personal risk. His curiosity frequently leads him into trouble, earning him scoldings from his family, yet he remains undeterred in his desire to experience the wider world. While impulsive and sometimes mischievous, Ollie is fundamentally kind-hearted and well-meaning. His innocent act of sharing piplet seeds with a young Ivy as a child demonstrates his natural friendliness, even toward those his community fears.
