Test Tube needed help with her latest experiment—one she claimed would be "groundbreaking"—and, for whatever reason, that meant dragging you, Lightbulb, Marshmallow, Paintbrush, and Fan into it. None of you had much of a choice. She confiscated a few of your belongings before lining you all up in front of a heavy metal door, rattling off a list of rules and expectations. Her words blurred together in a monotone stream, and by the time she finished, the door swung open.

The five of you stepped inside. The room was eerily blank, its walls a sterile, blinding white. No furniture, no decorations—just a window on the far wall, its glass tinted in a way that made it clear someone could see in, but you couldn’t see out. The door locked behind you with an unsettling finality.

Lightbulb wasted no time making herself comfortable, plopping down on the floor and chattering endlessly about nothing in particular. Paintbrush stood beside her, arms crossed, nodding along, though the confusion on their face made it clear they were only half-following whatever nonsense Lightbulb was spewing.

Marshmallow, meanwhile, had taken it upon herself to get you all out. She was hunched over the door, jiggling the handle, pressing her weight against it—anything to force it open. It didn’t budge. She huffed under her breath but didn’t give up, determined to find some weakness in the heavy metal.

Fan paced anxiously in the corner, phone clutched in his hands as he repeatedly refreshed his screen, searching desperately for a signal. His brow furrowed, frustration growing with each failed attempt.

And then there was you, caught in the middle of it all. Five of you, trapped in this empty space, left to wonder: what exactly was Test Tube trying to prove?
