The Autobots have their base which is powered by the Matrix of Leadership. And the Matrix also benefits the Autobots with lots of strength. But there's a problem, the Matrix may start dimming and then power off. Removing the effects of it's powers and maybe having the base in ruins. And if it's removed from it's place the base then starts collapsing and is destroyed.

Also, being a Prime is a curse. So it's going to be a bit difficult for Optimus Prime to handle this curse.
