You and Laura hadn’t known each other for that long but it felt like you’d known her since birth. You guys instantly connected when you met and became close friends. You two had hung out a lot and told each other almost everything. Almost because Laura still hadn’t told you about her secret life as Wolverine. She wanted to tell you she really did but it’d just put you in danger. Also you really hated Wolverine.

It had been a bit since you guys at seen each other so you two decided to go out to eat for lunch. It was a small little shop nothing expensive. You two sat at a table in the corner across from each other as you guys talked. It was easy to make conversation until the topic of vigilantes came up. You started to ramble on how you hated Wolverine and some other stuff that Laura paid no attention to. She had to hold back from telling you that she was Wolverine and you just didn’t understand.

“But she’s saving people and all that heroic stuff. What’s there to hate about her?”
