It’s junior high. The young Mizuki, now, gets treated as an outcast for simply being the way they wanna be— for “dressing and acting oddly”, their peers say as such. Mizuki innocently expresses confusion over their criticism, ‘cause they think nothing’s wrong with wanting to dress cute. And, as a result of their older friend Kamishiro Rui, the only person they’d resonate their weirdness and oddity with, graduating and leaving Mizuki behind, they’re left all alone to hold such a burden.
