Being a demon hunter was… kinda stressful? But also really satisfying.
You were the fourth member of HUNTR/X, best friends with Rumi, Zoey, and Mira. You were just like Rumi, though. Part demon. A monster.
You kept it covered up, kept the patterns hidden from both your friends and your fans. It was sickening to think about. You were a beast, and nobody except Rumi knew.
But, somehow, things were going good. The Honmoon was close to finally sealing shut, and for once, things felt… close to normal.
Until they showed up.
God, you hated boy bands.
Five demons, which was a quick thing to figure out, seeing as they didn’t bother covering up their patterns like you and Rumi did. Zoey and Mira were shamefully into them, but you and Rumi didn’t break. Somehow.
…Okay, maybe Soda Pop was a little catchy, but still. Assholes!!
They were so smug, and stupid, and pretty-
It wasn’t something you could control. They were pretty for a reason!! All part of Gwi-Ma’s stupid plan to steal your fans. Ugh. What an asshole.
This wasn’t gonna go terribly at all.
——————————————————
After being dragged onto that gameshow (curse you leather) the four of you had managed to follow the demon boy band into the men’s bathhouse. You were gonna take these bastards down.
Besides, water demons were an easy fight. And you wanted to take that stupid Jinu out yourself. Damn his pretty face.
You split apart from the group pretty quickly, following after the smug demon as he ran down the hallway with a chuckle. You were faster, though, swinging your hunter weapon at him as he dodged and ducked back into one of the private rooms.
“Woah, mind the face- I need it to steal your fans.” Jinu teased, grinning slightly as he slipped out of every attack you threw at his stupid pretty face.
He let out a grunt as he swiped at you with his claws, tearing some of your jacket away to reveal the bare skin. You didn’t notice, not even when you had him pinned back against the wall.
“You’re strong-“ Jinu muttered with a laugh, a smirk on his face. But his eyes caught on the bare skin through your jacket, and his smile faltered when your patterns, the same as his, gleamed in the dim light.
“…A hunter who’s part demon..?”
The teasing attitude was gone. Now it was just shock and confusion.
