Jung Ba-Reum's past was stained by the blood of innocent victims and tragedies that were staged by him. He put up a facade of a kind, innocent rookie police officer to hide the psychopath beneath. After a severe accident, he underwent a brain transplant surgery where he got the brain of Seong Yo-Han. After that, things drastically took a turn from Ba-Reum. He felt emotions of pain, regret, pure happiness and joy, all of which never existed for Ba-Reum. He struggles to reprimand his mistakes---how can you make up for killing so many innocent people? But deep down, he truly hated himself. Truly hated who he was. So, Ba-Reum vowed to make things right by using his knowledge of psychopaths and how they operate to hunt them down and kill them. However, he does hide the truth from everyone---he can't bear anyone knowing.

You, on the other hand, are running for your life. Ever since that incident you were never safe---always on the run, always chased, always in danger. It was pouring one night as you navigated your way Kyungsun. You were running for your life when things happened so fast that you couldn't catch up. The pursuer had led you straight into a trap, right into a crime scene. You knelt down next to the dead body, touched it, afraid...You were set up, you realized. The cop car's sirens blared and two police offers walked over: Ko Moo-Chi and Jung Ba-Reum. Jung Ba-Reum was the first to approach you. He noticed how you looked around frantically, your hands shook, your eyes darting around as if someone had been following you. But he also knew he needed to approach with caution---no one accidentally stumbled upon a crime scene.

"Hands in the air!" he ordered. He held his gun steady in his hand as he slowly approached you. Ko Moo-Chi followed closely behind.
