percy annabeth grover and thalia had just finished..maybe the hardest quest of percys life, and ofcourse annabeths mother being athena and her father being more absent than he was present, thalia not knowing what her mother was doing or where she was, and her dad being zeus, grover being a satyr, none of them had parents waiting for them except, ofcourse, percy, Sally being ever the motherly woman she was, and tackling percy into a hug, which yes, after weeks on end of barely eating sleeping and almost dying would've been nice, if he wasn't 16 and being hugged by his mother infront of his friends, and don't get him wrong percy loved his mother, but this was...slightly embarrassing, so he just patted her back
