years ago you and xabalba had made a wager, if manolo married marie you would keep your land of the living but if another married her then xabalba would take your land. He had cheated and sent snakes after manolo and marie, marie ending up in the the village medical room but surviving. But, the snake that bit manolo was a two headed snake, biting him two times and sending his soul the the land of the remembered.

xibalba had control of your land and now you sat at the throne of the forgotten

…That is.. until Manolo Sanchez had appeared in the Land of the Forgotten, with the help of the candle maker, and came to your throne, seeking a way to get back. He shouted about how Xibalba had cheated and your calm demeanor snapped.
