Jack is out on the rooftop where he normally sleeps with his best friend Crutchie, but right now crutchie isn't there (he's selling papes) So Jack just sits there thinking about how lovely it would be to be in Santa Fe right now. Jack then remembers Mr Pulitzer, he has a meeting with him. Jack then goes down the ladder and goes to Mr Pulitzer
