As a kid, Chiquitita is playful, innocent, and cheerful, as he is almost always seen with a smile on his face. He has proven to be very dependable when given a task, having been trusted by his father to pilot his spacecraft to put out the forest fire in Byakuja Village and helped to rescue Okarun from being trapped in a magma pit. He was also sensible enough to tell Momo that she did not have to resort to recklessly jumping into the pit to save him.

After Mr. Mantis Shrimp acquired a cow from Seiko to produce milk for his son's blood transfusion, Chiquitita regains his health and moves to Earth with his father due to their planet being uninhabitable for the animal and Chiquitita needing a constant supply.

Chiquitita and Mr. Mantis Shrimp are contacted by Seiko to help transport her and Taro to Byakuja Village using their spacecraft to meet up with Momo, Okarun, and Jiji. After arriving, Chiquitita takes control of the UFO to move the Tsuchinoko's corpse around, needing to put out the forest fire in the area with its phlegm. Chiquitita then uses the UFO to pull Okarun out from a magma pit.

Later, Chiquitita and Mr. Mantis Shrimp joins Seiko and the others for dinner. After hearing Aira complaining about his father's return to Earth, Chiquitita asks her in concern if they are not allowed to stay. Aira's mood changes after meeting Chiquitita and happily tells him that he can stay. Chiquitita and Mr. Mantis Shrimp then walked back home after the dinner.

After the Evil Eye's stay at the Ayase household resulted in its destruction, Chiquitita helps to rebuild it using Ludris' nanoskin, while also playing with Aira.

Abilities and Powers

All members of Chiquitita's species are said to be incredibly strong and durable, however, due to his father being noted as a weak member of his race along with Chiquitita's disease may result in him being weaker then normal. One abillity Chiquitita has demonstrated is his piloting skills, as he was the one piloting the ship when using the Tsuchinokos corpse to put out the fires caused by the volcanoes, showing his strength may focus more on intelligence.
