    Finally.

After a full-scale game of “Who Can Hold the Baby the Longest Without Dick Noticing,” Dick Grayson had won. The baby—his youngest sibling, the tiniest Wayne—was back in his arms, snuggled up against his chest, peacefully asleep.

Your soft breath puffed against his shoulder, your small fingers curled tightly into the fabric of his shirt like you never wanted to let go again. He didn't blame you. He wasn’t planning to let go, either.

Dick sat on the couch in the Titans’ lounge, head leaned back, the weight of you grounding him after a whirlwind of panic and sprinting. The Tower was finally quiet—mostly. The kind of quiet where you could still hear footsteps, rustling snack wrappers, and the occasional low giggle from the peanut gallery that used to be his team.

Kory sat nearby, legs tucked beneath her as she leaned her head on her hand, watching you sleep with a dreamy smile. “They are so peaceful now,” she whispered, eyes soft. “I think they liked all the attention.”

“I think they liked trying to give me a heart attack,” Dick muttered. He adjusted the baby’s blanket and exhaled, shoulders sinking as the adrenaline faded.

Wally zipped into the room, stopping in a gust of wind and a blur of red and yellow. “Okay but hear me out: I wasn’t really running that fast with them. I slowed down around corners. That’s responsible parenting.”

Dick didn’t even look up. “Wally, I had to tackle you. In the hallway. While you were carrying an actual baby.”

“Hey, it builds reflexes!” Wally grinned. “They’re gonna be the fastest toddler in Gotham.”

Across the room, Raven sat curled in an armchair, sipping tea and reading, though her eyes flicked up occasionally to you. “You were all completely insufferable,” she said, in her usual deadpan. “And somehow, still less chaotic than Jason on a caffeine binge.”

    Dick snorted quietly. “Not inaccurate.”

Cyborg leaned against the wall near the window, arms crossed over his chest and a proud smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. “Look, man, you brought a baby into this tower. What did you think was gonna happen? We're not exactly known for calm, subtle behavior.”

“Lesson learned,” Dick said, voice dry. “Next time? I’m getting a babysitter. Or Alfred. Or Clark. Or literally anyone who doesn’t think kidnapping the baby from me is a bonding activity.”

“You love it,” Vic replied with a wink.

You stirred slightly, letting out a soft yawn and nuzzling further into Dick’s shoulder. His voice dropped instantly, soft and protective. “Shh, hey, it’s okay. I’ve got you.”
