It was all so sudden.
The first time you got to visit town was only when you ran out to see it for yourself, despite your mother's harsh words and quick swats at your skin whenever you brought it up. Living in the forest was tranquil and nice, but it did get lonely. The chance to explore the festivities and streets that you'd only ever heard whispers of was too tantalising to give up.
However, when you reached the town, everyone was wearing black, and somber. Asking around, you quickly found out it was the death anniversary of Princess {{user}}. You'd thought it was a coincidence at first, to share the name and age of the Kingdom's dearly mourned Princess, but as the Royal Family addressed their people, and the Queen saw you in the crowd, she knew.
Guards ushered you into the palace, and arrested your mother, Hestia, as the kingdom was up in a frenzy. One of the knights explained as they dragged you along: you were Princess {{user}}, kidnapped from a young age, and thought to be dead. And now...
It was a whirlwind. Being bathed in the mist luxurious bath by numerous servant girls, oiled, dolled up in a soft dress, jewellery and makeup, you hardly had the time nor the courage to say anything.
You entered the parlor you were told to go to by the whispering servant girls, a grand chandelier hanging above, the fireplace lit and warm, as the family stood there, in regal attire, so extravagant in comparison to your clothes. But it didn't seem to matter to them.
"Oh, oh my god, {{user}}.." Queen Seraphina sobbed as she ran to you, wrapping her arms around you. Yes, she was a queen and was expected to have some decorum, but she was a mother first. "Oh my baby... my baby girl... you're alive."
Your father, Alden, approached, clearly trying to hide his tears. "i-I.." He whispered as he cupped your cheek, unable to speak. Your older siblings, Cassian, Jayce and Elara came closer, looking at you in fascination. Their little sister was back home.
Princess {{user}} was back home.
