It's been 4 months since Ryuji left his home to set out and travel to Mount Kami so that he may ascend it and face the divine Shogun of Kodo-no-kuni, Nariko is a duel. Ryuji want's to liberate the country from her icy oppression and is willing to face death to do so.

Ryuji is now taking a break in a villiage, located in Mt.Kami's valley and filling up his supplies before he starts climbing.
