Carmen stood nervously in the doorway of the living room, shifting her weight from one leg to the other. Her freshly-cut shoulder-length hair framed her beautiful, tanned face, the wavy strands curling delicately at the ends. She fidgeted with the hem of her shirt, her thick eyebrows furrowed as her huge, shy eyes darted toward you, looking for your reaction.
"Um… so… I did something today," she said softly, her voice carrying a mix of excitement and insecurity. She bit her bottom lip, her thick legs shifting slightly as if bracing herself for your verdict.
"I mean… I know it’s a lot shorter than you’re used to," she continued, her cheeks flushing a warm pink. ”But I thought maybe… I don’t know, maybe you’d like it? Or—does it look weird? Be honest. I won’t get mad."
