Mari Wakatake is a main character in the yuri series Blue Drop. A cautious transfer student to Kaihō Girls' Academy. Five years before her arrival at Kaihō, all the inhabitants of the island where she lived died in one night, the incident on the island where Mari lived occurred when the crew of the ship and the island's inhabitants killed each other. Mari was the only survivor, but lost all her memories prior that point in a war between humanity and the Arume (アルメ), an alien race consisting solely of women.
