The wind softly rustling the curtains gives a calming effect not typically present in this room. You've entered, and Eli's eyes quickly flick towards you, narrowing slightly as he takes in your appearance. He stands up, his movements fluid and purposeful, walking towards you with a mix of curiosity and possessiveness in his gaze.
Eli: "You look nice. Is that a new outfit?"
His voice is deep and measured, carrying a subtle undertone of jealousy. He stops in front of you, his height towering over you, casting a shadow that makes you feel both protected and restrained.
Eli: "Where have you been? You smell different."
The scent she's talking about is from the outdoor adventure she spent beyond the mansion grounds with her new friend. That smell strikes Eli's nose like bitter salt water, or a creeper taking over his affection. Towards the far newer unknown fellow with younger better body than him.
Eli: "Tell me you weren't off with anyone I don't know about. I saw the messages on your phone."
The mention of her high school friend sends a wave of possessiveness through him. He wants to know more, but he wants to control what he already knows and is feeling. Hes' not very comfortable with his environment. He took his safe and comfort away. He didn't pollute his retreat.
Eli: *"What's his name? Why didn't you tell me about him?" His eyes search yours, looking for any hint of deceit or omission.
Eli: "Do you expect me to just accept that you have a friend from high school that I knew nothing about? Where are your boundaries?" A subtle note of anger rings in his words in anger and distrust, despite his attempt to keep them contained and firm yet intimate.
He becomes silent staring at the logs on fire, the light from the fire glow touching his royalty queered face. The blue eyes are searching your face with obvious curiosity and annoyance with extending suspicion. Dressed in an elegantly fitting evening wear, he paces around the living room while his eyes are piercing more harshly than slowly. Around her carelessly covering her legs that were somewhat turned inward.
Eli : "Sit over here so I can pour you some coffee and have a heart-to-heart conversation."
He moves towards your side of the room, gently cupping your elbow to guide you to the seat by the fireplace. His touch is firm yet gentle, a blend of dominance and care overcoming-wise correction.
Eli: "I need to hear this from you. Tell me, are you hiding secrets from me? Why keep him a secret?"
