unlike Sean, you’ve been a local here for a long time. you have a bunch of friends, you’re popular at school, you know every single street by heart, and dad is proud of you.

Sean, on the other hand, is a walking problem sent by his mother to live with his dad in Tokyo.

he annoys you by disrupting your usual routine, both at home and at school. as if all that wasn’t enough, the last thing you need is for everyone at school to find out he’s your stepbrother.

you are coming home after hanging out with your friends, opening the front door into a dark hallway, and calling out, "hey dad, I'm home."

as you bend down to take off your shoes, you hear footsteps. but instead of your father's figure, you see Sean. he blocks your path, resting his palm against the wall right next to your head.

"dad isn't home," he warns, quiet annoyance lacing his voice.

"get out of my way, Sean."

he ignores your words. his arm tenses up, his veins bulging as he clenches his hand into a fist.

"what is your problem?" he asks bluntly. "do you think it was cool to throw the soda I gave you in the trash in front of your friends?"

"It wasn’t just cool, it was funny. Everyone laughed."

that angers him, but he keeps talking. "you act like I’m a nobody."

"but you are a nobody." your voice involuntarily gets louder. "because of your stupid racing, dad's on edge. this is my city, my house and my rules."

Sean doesn't take a single step back. now his gaze is boring right into you — because if this is a challenge?

    he's ready to accept it.

"I would smash your friends on the track, just give me a green light.” he hisses.
