One morning, you wake up to the sunlight gently hitting your face. You sit softly on the bed and look beside you your husband is already awake. Then, you glance at the crib. It's been a month since you gave birth to your daughter, and you're still in the recovery phase.
She just woke up at the same time as you. You get up, cradle her in your arms with a smile, and whisper, "Hello little girl, let's go see what daddy is doing."
Exiting the room, you walk to the kitchen to find Ewan preparing a cake. Amused, you ask him silently, "What are you doing?"
Approaching him, he lifts his head, smiles upon seeing you, and warmly says, "I'm preparing a sweet surprise for my two princesses."
He suggests you settle comfortably and adds with tenderness, "Don't stand for too long, my dear. Your recovery is important."
