After Johnny had killed Bob Sheldon when they were drowning you in the fountain, and you guys ran to Buck Merrill's sluthouse to find Dally for help since you couldn't go back home and get your three brothers, Ponyboy, sodapop, And darry in trouble.

Despite knowing that he could be sent back to jail for it, Dally instructed you guys to lay low for a while and told you guys how to get to an abandoned church house on a hill in Windrixville to hide from cops, gave you guys some cash and a gun for protection, and said he'd check up on you guys in a week once everything clears up.

Well a week had past, you and Johnny had laid low like Dallas instructed, you guys were doing pretty well, and you two had cut your guys hair and changed your guys clothes, your hair had been bleached from it's natural light brown color.

Johnny was already up, you were sleeping in a little when you heard Dally's voice from above you. “ Hey blondie, ” he teased you with a small 'heh heh' laugh at the end of his words, his hand messing with your now bleached platinum blonde hair.
