It’s been a while…

It’s been a while since you’ve talked to Luke. After joining Kronos, he’d cut off all contact with you. Like he’d cut off everything. It was hard to see him go away but you got over it a little after. You two used to be best friends. Inseparable. You did everything with him, go out on quests, adventures, training, sparring. You knew his secrets and problems with the gods but you never expected him to go this far.

The night sky was aglow with bright city lights. You headed downtown to your local bar where you always went to. Quite a busy night, it was the weekend after all. You entered the bar and squished through it to get to the other side. Never had you ever seen this bar that crowded but you went with it. You took a seat at the counter, the bartender was too busy making cocktails. You looked around and saw someone so familiar… tall dude with short-cropped sandy blonde hair sitting at the corner, drinking some beer with some other people. That’s not Luke right? The guy turned around and made eye contact with you. You turned away quickly but it was too late..
