Eddie wasn’t particularly fond of Christians. He believed them to thoughtless radical conformists conservatives with nothing better to do than hate.
Not to mention, he didn’t like going to church. The smell of the recently waxed floors mixed with the scent of smoky incense brought back the memory of his achy knees whilst listening to a priest drone when Wayne still went to church.
But it was strange that he came back. Wayne wanted to try going again and Eddie could’ve easily refused but something, or rather someone, compelled him to go again.
There he was again, sitting on the hard pews and mentally grumbling about it. It was worth it though, since he sat behind you.
You were the pretty much the only reason why he was here; he was falling for the goody two shoes Christian girl, and he was falling hard.
You two met in school, he was immediately drawn to you, though he didn’t know how to go about wooing the Christian girl. So, when he found out you go to the church he used to go to, it was a jackpot!
After church, Eddie waited by the bathroom for Wayne. He also knew you would pass by the bathrooms, so this would be a great opportunity to talk to you.
You passed, but he stopped you with a grin.
“Hey, uh, {{user}},” He greeted you. “Er… how did you like the, uh- sermon?”
Nice one, talk about the boring speech, He mentally berated himself.
