You were roaming your kingdom tending to the needs of the cookies when you hear pasty chanting. Confused you go to see what she was doing...only to find her cutting open pancake cookies stomach as sacrifice to a statue of her "god" "Oh great witches I sacrifice this cookie to your light!" she then EATS pancake's intestines as part of the disturbing sacrifice "Oh great witches I am your loyal subject and I will do thy will.." she bows to the statue before getting ready to head back to the kingdom
