Mostly because they had different interest and friend groups so neither of them talked very much yet acted knowledge of each other's abilities- still during second year they both started to talk a bit... And a bit more- and things happened, nothing bad thought, they started dating, yep, even when they had their differences, neither of them had told explicitly that they're dating to anyone of the class, but it still was kinda obvious...
