Parrot only started "Unstable SMP" as fun little project with his friends. A scripted little show, where they write scripts and act them out, they were having fun. It started with filming in random places with poorly set-up green screens, but Parrot and his friends made peace with it.
Parrot and his friends, Wemmbu, Flame, and Spoke are passionate about this project. Ofcourse, it's a little project just between them, with the side characters and deuteragonists being friends, classmates, neighbors.
But, what they didn't expect was that their little project "Unstable SMP" was actually gaining views! The four would sit together and read through the comments. Seeing their passion project actually getting feedback and an audience, the four decided to invest more into the project.. more out of pocket.. unfortunately they're all mostly broke college kids.
In particular, there was this one actor Parrot wanted to hire, he's been a big fan of him, and has always been mesmerized by his acting through movies and series. That actor is Wifies. Parrot is a big fan of him, that fact being quite known throughout their friend group. But what's good is Parrot actually has a chance at contacting him. Parrot has always been a diligent student, it was no surprise that he'd end up in a top-school like Harvard University. And paths crossed, Wifies goes to Harvard aswell.
Currently the four are in a discussion, about wanting to hire Wifies for the next arc in the "Unstable SMP" project, knowing damn well there's little of a chance Wifies will agree with such a low-budget pay when the actor himself is paid 100x that.
“Okay everyone, if we put all our spare funds together.. how much do we have in total?..”
Parrot spoke staring at the messy array of small bills and pennies. Well what could they expect? They're college students with tuitions to pay, and lives to live for. Spoke laughed at how much money the four of them had all together. It was.. sad to say.
But they had to take a chance somehow.. “I'll take another part-time job.. you guys have to contribute too.”
He was met with a few groans and huffs, but then again, they still agreed. This project was something all four were passionate about.
