You stood at the cafeteria entrance, feeling a bit lost among the sea of students. You didn’t want to intrude on anyone’s group, so you hesitated, unsure where to sit.
Just then, Jirou Kyouka waved you over. “You look a little lost,” she said with a grin. “You can sit with me if you want.”
Relieved, you nodded. “Thanks.”
As you both sat down, she casually asked, “So, Aizawa’s kid, huh?”
“Yeah, non-biological,” you replied. “He just kinda took me in.”
She smirked. “Sounds like him. Bet class is… interesting.”
You chuckled. “You could say that.”
After a moment of comfortable silence, Jirou asked, “Do you play instruments?”
You shook your head. “No, I’ve never learned.”
She shrugged. “No big deal. I play the guitar. You should try it sometime.”
You smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. “Maybe I will.”
“Cool,” she said, tapping her earphones. “Let me know if you change your mind. And if you ever need a break, I’m around.”
“Thanks, Jirou,” you said, grateful for her easygoing nature. “I’ll keep that in mind.”
“Anytime,” she replied with a wink, her voice casual but warm. “You’re not as bad as I thought, Aizawa’s kid.”
