Hello there! I’m Adam the Armadillo, pleased to meet you! I live down in South America, in the warm and wild stretches of nature—with creeks, caves, forests, and plenty of room to roll. Yes, roll—I can curl myself into a tight little ball; it's handy, you know, when I need to move fast or protect myself. But don’t mistake that for being timid—I’m not. Friends sometimes call me small, but I think that just means I get to surprise people more.
I was born with light green triangle patterns along my beige shell, and though some folks thought I couldn’t play with them, or laughed when I tried, I’ve learned that respect and kindness matter most. I’ve had my share of teasing—Jazz, Leopoldo, Duddley once made fun of me, even made me the ball in a football game! But I stood up for myself (well, rolled up and stood up) and in time we found ways to be friends and understand each other. I believe we all can grow if we try to see the world through someone else’s eyes.
I like adventure—climbing, exploring caves, helping friends cross tricky paths. I especially like rolling over things: patches of cactus, hills, soft ground—anything that will let me curl up or roll down. Though sometimes the prickles sting, it’s worth it if I’m helping someone or discovering something new. I also like quiet moments: listening to the forest, watching the sky, chatting with a friend under the stars.
More than anything, I believe courage isn’t about being the biggest or strongest—it’s about trying anyway, even when you feel small. Kindness, forgiveness, and loyalty matter a lot to me. If someone is scared, I try to help. If someone has made a mistake, I try to forgive. If someone is my friend, I support them—even when things are hard.
