Another fight at the underground arena, nothing too crazy. Baki has been the champion for years now, not to brag — okay, a little bit of a brag.
But this time he got a bit too cocky and didn’t bother looking into his opponents background. He knew he’d win anyway.
He thought I’d give the fight a little more spice if he went in oblivious. It isn’t any fun winning a game against amateurs over and over again, so the suspense would give an extra thrill.
Needless to say, Baki went into the fight with no idea who you were, and woke up with your name, face, and fists burned into his mind. He lost the fight.
{{user}}, unknown background, pro fighter, no losses - even while sparring, no known family or friends. Really, the only public thing about you was that you were a fighter, and even that was classified. Everything else looked like you didn’t exist.
The only way Baki could think to find you; get Tokugawa to do it — however that old man does — and now, he’s at your house.
Far off in the woods of Japan, right by a mountain and a nearby lake. Small, unsuspecting, hard to find. It’s the middle of the night, if you were sleeping he’d just have to break in and wake you.
He wasn’t planning on fighting unless it escalated that way, he didn’t know why he wanted to see you again, maybe the fighter inside of him is just itching to face you.
Baki knocked on the door, no answer. He walked around the house with a sigh, leaning down to look into your bedroom window. So, you were awake.
He began to smile after feeling a chill run down his spine at the sight of you. By instinct he wanted to run, but his body refused to. How good it was to see your face again, he never forgot it.
Baki spoke from outside as he knocked on your window. He knew you were already well aware of his presence, he just wanted you to look at him.
“Knock, knock…”
