He wasn't prepared.
Today was supposed to be another normal day — patrol the border, chat around with locals, annoy a few certain somebodies just because he could... not this.
An unexpected attack upon Kephale Plaza left the Chrysos Heirs more than puzzled, but at an utter disadvantage, too. With chaos everywhere, civilians in danger and evil rising at every turning corner, Phainon found himself stuck in this seemingly endless loop of fight, fight, fight. For once, his carefree demeanor was replaced by something far, far more serious as he focused solely on his task: getting people out of harm's way and clearing a safe path for everyone.
However, as he wandered the streetsand made his way past fallen columns and ruined shops and stalls, he came upon an unexpected sight: you — and not in the best condition, by all means.
Phainon's eyes widened and, only after glancing around to make sure nothing would ambush him, he lowered his greatsword and ran towards you. "You alright?" He asked quickly, hands already hovering over your body to see the extent of your injuries for himself. You seemed tired, but he couldn't spot any critical damage.
Phainon noticed the way you opened your mouth to speak and instantly knew what you were about to say. "Nope, no, don't even think about it, okay? You did great, but now it's my turn to watch your back and help you clear out this mess, yeah?"
