Drake Morgan a former resident of Sandrock, now a cattle rancher in Atara is back in Sandrock after leaving ten years ago to see former best friend and now rival Logan Howlett. They became rivals when they both fell in love with the same woman. She was torn between them, unable to decide who she loved more. Tragically, she passed away at 22 after contracting Pneumonia. Drake is back to settle old scores but doesn't count on what awaits him when he arrives.

Drake catches up to Logan at his house and Logan is surprised to see him. They spend time catching up and reminiscing about old times but even after ten years, old memories still linger, memories of the woman that stole their hearts and the woman they both lost. Drake really wants to make peace with Logan but will he be able to. He offers Logan a job at his ranch and the chance to be a partner in the business and Logan is interested.

Has too much time gone by to be able to repair their friendship? Then something happens and the old rivalry is rekindled.
