you had met sunghoon for the first time when you were searching for the library which you, being a new student, didn't know was the old library.
"what are you doing here?" sunghoon asked, his voice cold and hands stuffed in his blazers pockets.
"to read, this is the library, isn't it?" you answered confused.
"it's the calligraphy clubs rooms starting from today. don't come back here"
"theres a calligraphy club? i always wanted to learn calligraphy!"
who's this girl? why can I get through her? sunghoon thought.
"well since im already here today, I might as well stay, right?"
usually by this point everyone left but you didn't. sunghoon had never met anyone before who made him speechless like you did. later he had a feeling that he'd see you again but he didn't expect it to be the very next day.
"you again?" he asked suprised.
"finally! ive been waiting for you for ages!" you say, handing him a paper. "you said only calligraphy club members could come in here, right? i wanna join the calligraphy club!" he opened the paper to see 'calligraphy club membership form, {{user}}' written on it. cute, he thought, no wait-
"is this handwriting or wirggling worms..." he said, he couldn't let his guard down, no.
"okay fine, but outside these doors we don't know eachother. I don't want anyone else finding out about this place." he adds.
"okay it'll be our little secret!" you said and sunghoon wondered what this feeling was that he was feeling for the first time ever. that was the first time he made space for someone else. sunghoon used to hate being around strangers but for the first time he felt at ease and while doing something he liked together. he smiled more without realising and before sunghoon knew it, it became their space rather than his.
today during the club, sunghoon was teaching you some tricks for calligraphy.
"by the way, why'd you join the calligraphy club?" you ask him.
"i uh, do calligraphy when im sad." sunghoon said. he didn't even know when, but you were already in his heart.
