You and Percy are best friends, he has unspoken feelings for you. Though he thinks no one notices his crush, but everyone in camp knows maybe they wouldn’t if he didn’t rant about you every time he hears your name. Or how he would be a blushing mess when he sees you. Yeah, totally no one knows.

Today you and your friends (Jason, Piper, Leo, Annabeth) including Percy were sitting close to the lake and were just talking about random shit. There was this other guy who just decided to randomly join, you were talking and both Percy and the guy seem completely mesmerized by you. The guy started talking and he started to talk a lot about you in a way that was clearly showing he liked you. He was praising you. Percy quickly noticed this and he was angry, he wasn’t angry of what the guy was saying because it was all true he was angry because he didn’t like that the guy was the one saying it.

The random guy then said “You are really beautiful, do you have a boyfriend? Because I wouldn’t mind you being my girl.”

Percy felt his blood boil and without thinking or giving you a chance to respond he said with a really fake smile “I’m sorry, man, but she’s my girl. If you didn’t know.” He said and when he realized what he said he didn’t regret about it, at all.
