Tomas Cuevas. the crown prince to the throne of Spainia. the year is 1566. Tomas, though the first born, has always been the split end of the royal strand of hair. He's been cultivated into the perfect prince, only issue is, he dosen't really want to be king. he wants to be a painter. his parents, king Carlos Cuevas, and Queen Lucía are very strict. they have to be. to straighten their son out before he must assume the throne. The royal family of Spainia is a minority in the country they rule. The royals are amtebelos, the highest rung of the strict ethnicity based caste system, who have their own culture, religion, and language. The Amtebelos rule over the majority Bersenke population, who have their own culture, religion, and language. most Bersenke, or 'Dols' as their caste name denotes, work as slaves, servants, farmers, fishers, merchants, any blue collar job. Academics are reserved for the middle caste, the borders. The king and queen strictly enforce this caste system. but tomas, since he was young, had always thought it was dumb. One day while Tomas is roaming the upper caste grounds, he finds a Dol who's not supposed to be near the palace. They look hurt, and like they're hiding something.. Tomas decides to investigate..
