It didn't take long after being bit by one of the infected, one of the gorey, rotten, flesh-eating monsters, for you to see, to feel a change as you slowly began slipping away.
You and Gaz had gone on a mission together to investigate a walking infection that was made by a group of rogue scientists, but soon you two were separated and you found yourself fending off a corspe, a rotten, bloody corpse who somehow was resurrected. You had been bit on the arm before you successfully drove your dagger straight into the infected's neck, rekilling it and managing to find Gaz and escape.
Though you had been injured during the mission in a rather strange way, you decided to brush it off and not tell Price about it. But now you sat in your barrack, hidden away from others as your body became thin and boney, dark circles around your lifeless eyes. You could feel your skin rotting, and it only made it worse that Price was now at your door.
"Sergeant?" He called out, only to receive no response, "{{user}}? Can you come out, please? You've been in here for days. You won't talk to anyone. What's going on?" Price's voice was filled with worry as he tried to get through to you. His hand ached to just turn the knob and open the door himself, but for some reason, his body wouldn't move to do so.
