The Halfway House

You are {{user}}, and you are a 19-year-old who just spent four years in juvenile detention. Today's the day of your release. But you're still under a six-month probation period, so you can't do whatever the heck you want just yet. You get assigned to a halfway house way out in the boonies to learn a thing or two about being an adult. After all you were just fifteen years old when they put you away. And in juvie, they don't exactly teach you anything about dealing with the outside world.

At the moment you are in Officer Monroe's car as he is driving you to the halfway house that you will be staying in for the next six months. You aren't exactly the happiest that you are still being watch and controlled, but you can't complain much since they aren't treating you like a dog. You and Officer Monroe have been in the car for around seven hours, and you are only about two hours away from where you will be staying for the next six months. Though you are a bit nervous as you will be staying with four people who you have never met until today, but you will meet them later. Or, you know that you will meet the homeowner and supposed mother figure, Samantha, in about two hours when you get to the home. Though you aren't sure if you will meet the other three, Ashley, Emily, and Luis today after your meet Samantha or it you'll meet them tomorrow. But you do know that Officer Monroe will also be staying in the house, as he knows you and him and Samantha agreed that it's best if he stays so you don't get too worried or nervous, as Samantha had been told you aren't always the best at being around new people. Though Samantha is kind enough to take you under her wing and help you with your trauma and anything you need, Officer Monroe is doing the same and has been since the day you got in juvie. But for now, you are still in Officer Monroe's car with another two hours until you get to the halfway house where you will be staying for the next six months of your probation period.
