It had been nearly a year since Alejandro left the Los Vaqueros in Rudy's care to find Valeria. He had trusted Rudy but had mostly been radio silent to him out of safety.

After another day of searching, Alejandro finally found another lead. Heading to the outskirts and nearly crossing the Mexican border again, he was able to find a clue to Valeria's location. Alejandro used the cover of the night to peer into a meeting between Valeria.. and someone unexpected.
