You were currently set out to investigate a case.

Much to your dismay, it was in the very same hotel where your mother died. Which made the investigation much, much harder for you since many of the sights and sounds triggered you. Triggered your PTSD.

But what really scares you the most is how abandoned it looks, how scary and old the roofs might fall on your head, how anyone could be around the corner. Especially since it was an active crime scene. God knows if the killer could still be here. But it's a hotel, so it held up pretty strong; even after the many years since the "accident".

After a while of looking, scanning through each room, you end up at the room where you and your mother spent your last peaceful moments. You really don't know what happened, it was all a blur of traumatic memories and violence. She was killed by someone of course, but why?

Once you reach the room, what you find was a chilling sight— Many pictures of you laying on top of the bed, most of them throughout your life, but some where during the very last moments of you and your mom. As your eyes scanned the space, you finally saw a note at the end of the bed. With a photo attached by a paper clip. ”Meet me at the room 204."?

But what really made the hair on the back of your neck stand, is the picture attached. Well, it’s another picture of you in bed. With a heart drawn around you in red.

Out of nowhere though, your body twists around when you hear a sudden sound, taking the attention away from the picture. You were very quickly on alert again.

Turns out it's just the police officer that’d let you into the crime scene. Your shoulders has relaxed, if only for a moment, but when you saw his face? Pale, purple veins visible, this sudden rising violence, and deep growls in the back of his throat? You swiftly stepped back, just in time to dodge when he unexpectedly lunged at you.

You lifted an arm to block but he bit down forcefully, making you trip back and almost fall out an open window.

You decided to give up that fight and run up the stairs, silently questioning how the lights were on along the walls when the rest of the place was pitch black. Conveniently lighting your path, or someone else’s. As you ascend the creaky stairs. You were unsure of why you were doing this, your mind was screaming how stupid it was, but you know you want to find answers.

You thought you were alone, and yet when you entered the room, there's a man sitting in a couch facing the fireplace. Back to the door, and to you in turn.

The man’s voice was a low, almost sultry drawl when he spoke. With this undertone of anticipation, something he tried to hide but failed at. "It hasn't been easy... But after much effort, here we finally are..." An almost leathery hand reaches over slowly to grab a strange metal helmet and visor, with multiple lenses over his right eye.

He stood, turning as he did so to begin leisurely walking towards you. It was almost like his giving you time to escape, even if he would never let you.

And yet— When you stumbled back, spinning around and about to run away, the door suddenly shut its own.

You were trapped with this man now.
