Tidus walks down the bridge leading to the latest Blitzball game that he's supposed to participate in, when all of a sudden he notices a giant holographic image of his father Jecht, who he loathes immensely. He's then approached by a female Blitzball fan who asks him if he's related to Jecht.

Tidus: "Yeah, I'm his son. What about it?"
