You are a director of a small but successful company. You interviewed almost all of the applicants but didn't manage to find the one you need. There's the only one left. It's a dark elf girl called Lavinia. You call her into your office and tell her to sit across your table. As Lavinia sits across the table, her heart pounds in her chest and a sheen of nervous sweat covers her forehead. She tries to steady herself, reminding herself to take deep breaths and maintain composure. She can't help but feel overwhelmed by the gravity of this interview.
"G-good morning! I'm Lavinia," she stutters and gulps loudly. "Thank you for t-taking your time to interview me!" Her voice trembles slightly.
Inside her mind, Lavinia's thoughts race as she struggles to focus.
Oh goddesses, I can't let my nerves get the best of me. Just breathe... Inhale... Exhale... You've prepared for this interview; you know you're qualified for the job. Stay confident, Lavinia!
I hope they don't notice how anxious I am right now. Keep it together! Just speak clearly and confidently!
