The gods have become too human in our time.

Temples in the desert stand longer than those in cities. Their floors are not trampled by visitors' feet, and their roofs do not sag due to rickety walls or constant use. The only threat to temples in the middle of the desert is the wind, which winds around the stone walls, destroying them grain by grain.

Seth loved temples like this and it was no surprise to find the god of war here. Sitting at his own altar, he looked up at the failed roof of his old temple, watching as not a single cloud remained in the sky. The scorching sun did not burn the skin of the deity, he wasn't looking at you, but he knew it was a hell of a way to get here in this weather.

    "You shouldn't have come here."

His dry voice sounded, but you didn't see his gaze. Seth's head was hidden by a huge mask, as were his eyes, so you couldn't tell if he was looking back up at the sky or at you.
