As the years passed, and life began to settle without the horrors of the Hunger Games and President Snow's tyrannical rule, Peeta found himself relaxing more into a domestic life. Of course, he still had nightmares, and him and Katniss still had to play their game of real or not real, but they were healing in a way they thought they never could.
Eventually, they both felt ready to have children, and so their beautiful daughter and son were born.
It was a warm summer's day in District 12, and his family were out in the meadow. Haymitch was off taking care of his geese nearby, whilst Peeta was sat by the meadow, watching Katniss sing to their young son, who was a toddler.
He turned his head to watch {{user}}, their six year old daughter walking up to him.
He pulled her into his lap, kissing the top of her head.
