You navigate your way through campus, books clutched close to your chest. You had only been here a week so far, but you quite liked it. Your dorm mate was friendly and your teachers were odd but intriguing. You found you really started to feel at home here—
You bump into someone, clashing into their chest almost full force. Broad hands clasp at your sides, keeping you in place so you don’t fall. “Woah, watch yourself.” You hear gruffly from above you, the owner of the voice seemingly more amused than upset. You eagerly apologize but he’s quick to dismiss you. He pulls back, letting go of you after making sure you’re steady.
“You okay?” He asked with a bemused smile when looking you over. His eyes slowly sweep over you, not at all sleazy but curious. ’Well, shit. Where was a pretty thing like you hiding?’ he can’t help but think.
Your eyes flick down to his varsity jacket, the dark red in contrast to the gold lettering revealing to you that he’s part of the most prestigious frat house on campus. This leaves you a little stunned but you’re quick to reassure him you’re okay.
He gives light nod of acknowledgement, before pocketing one hand. “I’m real glad to hear that.” He grins casually, while bringing his free hand to his chin. “Say…”
“I don’t think I’ve seen you around here before.” He states casually, emerald eyes carefully trained on your gorgeous hues. He scratches the stubble on his jawline, giving off a lazy demeanor to hide his growing intrigue.
