But none of that mattered, not when you turned to find Bakugo beside you, barely clinging to consciousness. You and him were badly injured, basically on death’s doorstep.

This was it. You were going to die. You were going to die in your stupid hero costume, along with your best friend. Bakugo and {{user}}: dead as teenagers in a war against the league of villains. Tragic. Everything was so loud but it all seemed to drown out as background noise as you and Bakugo looked at each other with weak smiles on your faces.
